A Fiat Uno Mille, launched in 1990 as the first 1.0 popular car in Brazil, was sold for about US$ 17,600 after spending over 30 years without being driven.
The vehicle, extremely simple and affordable at the time, stood out at the 2024 edition of the Brazilian Classic Cars Meeting in Águas de Lindóia, an event known for gathering automotive rarities.
The 1990/1991 red model caught attention for being in almost original condition: it was never registered and has only 65 km on the odometer. These characteristics made the car almost like a new one, which significantly increased its price.
The person responsible for the sale was Reginaldo Ricardo, known for selling low-mileage classic cars. He explained that the vehicle had been kept for over three decades because its first owner won it in a lottery but never drove it, as he didn’t have a driver’s license. So, the car was stored in the garage ever since.
